Packages & libraries

Gurdx is a plain HTTPS + JSON API, so you do not need a special SDK: any HTTP client works. The examples below are the smallest working call in each language.

cURL#

curl "https://gurdx.cretip.com/api/lookup/ip?ip=8.8.8.8&key=YOUR_API_KEY"

PHP (Laravel HTTP client)#

use Illuminate\Support\Facades\Http;

$result = Http::acceptJson()
    ->withToken(env('GURDX_KEY'))
    ->get('https://gurdx.cretip.com/api/scoring/email', ['email' => 'user@example.com'])
    ->json();

JavaScript (fetch)#

const res = await fetch('https://gurdx.cretip.com/api/scoring/phone?phone=%2B966501234567&countryCode=SA', {
  headers: { Authorization: 'Bearer YOUR_API_KEY' },
});
const data = await res.json();

Python (requests)#

import requests

r = requests.get("https://gurdx.cretip.com/api/lookup/bin", params={"bin": "411111", "key": "YOUR_API_KEY"}, timeout=5)
print(r.json())

Good habits#

  • Keep the key on your server. Never ship it in browser or mobile code; use authorized hosts if you must call from a browser.
  • Set a short timeout and decide up front what your app does when the call fails.
  • Use a gx_test_ key or mode=test while developing: it is free and never raises events.
  • Pass userID so events and logs show who triggered them.
